We are in Sedona, and we meet families anywhere in the state at a public place we agree on together. We run a closed kennel to protect the puppies while their immune systems are developing, so the meetup is where you receive your puppy, its health record and everything it is going home with.

Keeping a Shih Tzu in Arizona
An Arizona summer is the thing to plan around with this breed. A Shih Tzu cools itself through its nose and a short nose does that badly, so from May to September walks happen at dawn and after dark, the pavement gets the back of your hand before the dog stands on it, and the house stays air conditioned. Dry heat is easier on them than humid heat, which is a genuine advantage of living here over most of the country, but a hundred and ten degrees is a hundred and ten degrees. Winters are nothing to them, even up here where it snows.
