How to Buy a Shih Tzu Puppy From Us
Four simple steps and a conversation at each one. No application, no deposit and no waitlist: you write, we talk, you pay, and your puppy comes home, just like Milo here did with the Harpsons.
Buying a puppy from us is personal and simple. Every puppy on this site is here now and photographed as itself. If one is right for you, the whole process is a conversation, a payment, and a happy handover, whether you collect in person or your puppy travels to you. Here is each step.

1. You write to us
Through the form, or straight to info@royalsilkshihtzus.com. Tell us where you are and which puppy caught your eye, if one has. That is enough to start.
The form asks a few optional questions about your home, simply so our reply can be about your family and which puppy would suit you. We read every message ourselves and answer, usually within a day.
2. We talk
By phone or email, whichever you prefer. We will tell you all about the puppy you like, send more photos, and talk about your home and family so we can help you choose the one that will fit right in.
Ask us anything at all: what the parents weigh, what the puppy is like with the others, what we feed. We want you to end up with the right puppy, so if we think a different one in the litter would suit your home better, we will say so gently.
3. You pay
Our puppies are $700 for a boy and $750 for a girl. Payment is made in full when you collect, or before the puppy travels if it is coming to you. There is no deposit, no holding fee and no application fee.

4. Your puppy comes home
We meet you in Arizona at a public place we agree on together; that is how Chrisy went home to Bakersfield and how Daisy met her family. If you are further away, ground transport brings your puppy to your door, or a flight nanny carries it in the cabin and hands it to you at arrivals. And an 8lb puppy is carry-on, so you can also fly into Phoenix and take it home yourself. Our puppies always travel with a person, never as cargo. Each option in detail, with the photographs.
We run a closed kennel to protect our puppies while their immune systems are still developing, so meetups and pickups happen at agreed public places rather than at the house. Why, in a little more detail.
Puppies go home from eight weeks old, weaned, settled, vet checked and used to being held. Before the day you will have read and signed the contract, which is on this site in full, and you will know what comes home with your puppy.
What makes it simple
- No application. A conversation tells us far more than a form, and it mostly decides which puppy, not whether.
- No deposit. You pay when you have found your puppy and you are ready.
- No waitlist. The puppies on the site are here now, and you can meet them.
- Home from eight weeks. Weaned, settled, vet checked, started on potty training, with a one-year health guarantee, and ready for you.
